Abstract

This research to find out the effect of liquidity, profitability and leverage on the firm value. While, the population was Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Moreover, the sampling collection technique used puposive sampling, in which there were 11 companies as sample In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The research result concluded liquidity, profitability, and leverage were properly used as predictor. In other words, they had affected on the fluctuation of the firm value of Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Moreover the research result, in partially, concluded profitability which referred to Return On Assets (ROA) and leverage which referred to Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) had positive and significant effect on the firm value. On the other hand, liquidity which was referred to Current Ration (CR) had negative and insignificant effect on the firm value. At this point, the condition described the higher the Current Ratio level, the more uneffectivity in managing its working capital would have. In l;ine with, there were working capital which was not used. As consequence, there were more opportunities would be loss in getting the higher profits.
