PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN STRUKTUR AKTIVA TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL PADA PERUSAHAAN MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN

Abstract

This research aimed to find out and analyze the effect of profitability, firm size, asset structure on the capital structure. While the population was Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the sampling collection technique used purposive sampling in which the sample was collected based on criteria given. Furthermore, there were eleven companies as sample, in 5 years (2013-2017). In addition, the data used annual financial statement in a form of balance sheet and income statement of Food and Beverages companies. For the data analysis technique, it used multiple regressions analysis. The result of multiple regressions analysis concluded return on asset had negative and insignificant effect on debt to eqyuity ratio. On the other hand, firm size had positive and significant effect of debt to equity ratio. Likewise, structure asset had positive and significant effect on debt to equity ratio.
