PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LEVERAGE DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, and firm size on the firm value of plantation companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2017. While, profitability was measured by Return on Equity, leverage was measured by Debts to Equity Ratio, company size was measured by Firm Size, and firm value was measured by Price Book Value. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the sampling collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was collected based on criteria given. Furthermore, there were 13 out of 16 plantation companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2017. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS version 20. The research result concluded profitability had positive and significant effect on the firm value. On the other hand, the leverage had negative and significant effect on the firm value. Likewise the profitability, the firm size had positive effect on the firm value.
