PENGARUH LIKUIDITAS, LEVERAGE, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PADA PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGES
Abstract
This research aimed to find out the effect of liquidity, leverage, and firm size on the profitability at Food and Beverages companies. The independent variable i.e. liquidity was measured by current ratio, leverage measured by debt to assets ratio, and firm size measured by natural logarithm from the total assets. While, dependent variable i.e. profitability was measured by return on assets. Population amount is 18 Food and Beverages companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2017 periods. From 18 Food and Beverages, there were 10 companies fulfilled the determined criteria. Moreover, the sampling collection technique used purposive sampling. Furthermore, the data analysis technique use multiple linear regressions analysis, classic assumption test, model feasibility test, and hypothesis test. In addition, the result of the model feasibility tests concluded liquidity, leverage, and firm size simultaneously had significant effect on the profitability. The result of hyphothesis shows that Liquidity and leverage had significant effect on the profitability. On the other hand, the firm size did not have any significant effect on the profitability.
