Abstract

This research is meant to test and to shows empirical prove of the influence of profitability, leverage, and firm size to the firm value. Quantitative approach and secondary data have been used as the source of data. The data collection technique has been carried out by using documentation technique i.e. annual report which has been obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample collection technique has been done by using purposive sampling method so that 45 manufacturing companies which are listed in the IDX in 2013-2015 periods have been selected as samples. The analysis technique has been done by using classic assumption test, multiple linear regressions, and hypothesis test. The result of the research shows that profitability gives significant and positive influence to the firm value, it means that when the return on equity is high, the efficiency and the effectiveness of the company performance which will influence the investors’ interest to invest will be as well. Leverage gives significant and positive influence to the firm value, it means that when the risk level which should be burden by the company is high, the profit for the investors which will increase the value of stock price will be as well. It is supported by the Rsquare with its large contribution.
