PENGARUH KOMPENSASI, KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARIER TERHADAP JOB HOPPING PADA GEN Z DI SURABAYA
Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of compensation, organizational commitment, and career development on the job-hopping decision of the Z Generation in Surabaya. The research applies quantitatively with a causal-comparative approach. Furthermore, the population consists of employees who belong to the Z Generation and were born in 1997–2012 or are currently 13-28 years old. The data collection technique used purposive sampling with the lemeshow formula. In line with that, there were 54 respondents were selected as samples. Moreover, the instrument in the data collection technique was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with the instrument of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26 version. The result shows that compensation has a negative and significant effect on the job-hopping of the Z generation in Surabaya. However, organizational commitment has a negative and insignificant effect on the job hopping of the Z generation in Surabaya. In contrast, career development has a negative and significant on the job hopping of the Z generation in Surabaya.
