PENGARUH PERPUTARAN PERSEDIAAN, PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN, DAN INFLASI TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PADA PERUSAHAAN RITEL YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of supply turnover, sales growth and inflation on the profitability at the Retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2023. Furthermore, the independent variables which were supply turnover was measured by inventory turnover, sales growth was measured by sales growth ratio or growth, and inflation was measured by checking the economy data of Indonesia Bank. Meanwhile, the dependent variable which was profitability was measured by Net Profit Margin. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, 8 Retail sector companies listed on IDX during 2019 - 2023 period were gained as the samples. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regressions with SPSS application 26 version. The result concludes that supply turnover has a positive and significant effect on the profitability. However, sales growth has a negative and insignificant effect on the profitability. Likewise, inflation has a negative and insignificant effect on the profitability.
