Abstract

Qualified and potential human resources will become a major strength in a company. Moreover, human resources are one of the elements that make a business or company run well. Therefore, the company needs better human resources management for optimal employee performance. This research aimed to find out and analyze work discipline, work environment, and employee commitment on the employee performance of Toeng Market company in Surabaya. The study was quantitative. Furthermore, the population consisted of 36 Toeng Market employees in Surabaya; all 36 employees were taken as the sample. The primary data were used with a questionnaire as its data collection instrument. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result showed that (1) work discipline had a positive effect on employees’ performance of Toeng Market in Surabaya; (2) work environment had a significant effect on employees’ performance of Toeng Market in Surabaya; and (3) employees’ commitment had a significant effect on employees’ performance of Toeng Market in Surabaya
