Abstract

The research aims to determine and analyze the effect of self-efficacy and competence on UKMK women’s performance through innovation as an intervening variable. The research applies quantitatively with a descriptive approach. Furthermore, the data were primary. The data collection technique used non- probability sampling with certain criteria. Moreover, the instrument in the data collection technique was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed through Google Forms. The sample was UMKM women’s practitioners at Royal Plaza, Surabaya with 102 respondents. The data analysis technique used PLS (Partial Least Square) with SmartPLS 4.0. The result concludes that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on UMKM women’s performance. Competence has a positive and significant effect on UMKM women’s performance. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on innovation. Competence has a positive and significant effect on innovation. Innovation has a positive and significant effect on UMKM women’s performance. In addition, innovation as an intervening variable can moderate positively and significantly the effect of self-efficacy and competence on UMKM women’s performance.
