PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS DAN SALES GROWTH TERHADAP FINANCIAL DITRESS
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of profitability which is measured by return on asset (ROA), liquidity is measured by current ratio (CR), sales growth is measured by sales increase indicator as the independent variables on the financial distress which is measured by Altman Z-Score analysis as the dependent variable. The research applies quantitatively. Furthermore, the population consists of subsector retail companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) with thirty Sub Retail subsector companies during 2019-2023. The data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on determined criteria. In line with that, there were 25 Retail subsector companies as the samples. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regressions with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26 version. The result shows that profitability has a negative and significant effect on the financial distress at Retail subsector companies. Liquidity and sales growth have a positive and significant effect on the financial distress at Retail subsector companies.
