PENGARUH JOB INSECURITY, JOB SATISFACTION DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA (NON FISIK) TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION KARYAWAN PADA RUMAH SAKIT X SURABAYA

Abstract

This research examines the effect of job insecurity, job satisfaction, and work environment on the employees’ turnover intention at X hospital. Job insecurity was measured by job means for individuals, level of threat that employees felt, level of threat that may happen, and importance of the job as a whole. Job satisfaction was measured by a mentally-challenging job, worth compensation, supportive work atmosphere, colleague relation, and availability of job facility. Turnover intention was measured by intention to quit from a job, willingness to leave, and desire to look for another job. The research is descriptive-quantitative. Population consists of 181 employees at X hospital. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on the criteria given. In line with that, there were 65 respondents as a sample. The instrument in the data collection technique was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to the respondents online (G-Forms). Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. with SPSS 26. The result shows that job insecurity and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. However, the work environment has a negative and significant effect on the employees’ turnover intention at X hospital.
