Abstract

This research examines and analyzes the effect of sales growth and profitability on firm value which was mediated by dividend policy at Retail Trade companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020-2023. The research employs quantitatively. Furthermore, the research consists of Retailer Trade companies listed on IDX during 2020-2023. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 6 companies as the sample. Moreover, the data were secondary, which were taken from online publication data of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Gallery of Investment of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (GIBEI) in STIESIA. Additionally, the data analysis technique used path analysis with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26. The result shows that sales growth has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. In addition, sales growth has a positive but insignificant effect on dividend policy. In contrast, profitability has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy. Meanwhile, dividend policy has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Dividend policy mediates the effect of sales growth on firm value. Likewise, dividend policy mediates the effect of profitability on firm value.
