Abstract

This research aims to analyze and find out the effect of work discipline, motivation, and compensation on employees’ performance at the Department of Industry and Trade office, East Java province. Furthermore, the independent variables were work discipline, motivation, and compensation. Meanwhile, the dependent variable was employees’ performance. The research was causal-associative with a quantitative approach. Moreover, the population consists of 80 employees who are civil servants and 70 employees who are not civil servants at the Department of Industry and Trade office, East Java province. The data collection technique used saturated sampling, in which all members of the population were the sample. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to the 80 respondents as the samples. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS 26. The result shows that work discipline, motivation, and compensation has a positive and significant effect on the employees’ performance at the Department of Industry and Trade office, East Java province. It meant, the better work discipline, motivation, and compensation are, the better the employees’ performance would be.
