Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of firm size (SIZE), profitability (Return On Asset), and capital structure (Debt to Asset Ratio) on the firm value of the proceed food sub-industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2019-2023.The population consists of 15 proceed food sub-industry listed on IDX. Furthermore, the data collection technique used purposive sampling with 13 samples for 5 years in a row. Thus, there were 65 data samples. Moreover, the study applies quantitatively. The data were secondary and taken from companies’ financial statements. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 26 version. The result of the regression model is worth to be used for the next research. Therefore, it can be followed up by the results of the next study. According to the research results, firm size (SIZE) significantly affects the firm value of the proceed food sub-industry. Likewise, profitability (Return On Asset) has a significant effect on the firm value of the proceed food sub-industry. However, capital structure (Debt to Asset Ratio) has an insignificant effect on the firm value of the proceed food sub-industry. Meanwhile, capital structure (Debt to Asset Ratio) had an insignificant effect on the firm value of the proceed food sub-industry.
