PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN, RASIO PROFITABILITAS, DAN RASIO LEVERAGE TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN INDUSTRI MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2019 - 2023

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of companiesʼ growth (total assets growth), profitability (return on assets), and leverage (debt to equity ratio) on firm value (price to book value) of food and beverage industries listed on the indonesia stock exchange during 2019 – 2023. The population consisted of food and beverage industries listed on idx 2019 – 2023. Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling with 9 samples from the food and beverage industries. All members of the population were taken homogeneously as the samples. The study applies quantitatively with secondary data. The data were companiesʼ annual financial statements. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with the spss 26 version. The result shows that companiesʼ growth (total asset growth) had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. However, profitability (return on assets) has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Similarly, both firm value and leverage (debt to equity ratio) have a positive and significant effect on the firm value of food and beverage companies.
