Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of leadership on the employees’ performance, and employees’ work motivation at KJPP HUR, as well as to find out the effect of the competence on the employees’ performance and work motivation at KJPP HUR. Besides it aimed to determine the effect of work motivation on the employees’ performance. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data collection technique used a saturated sampling technique i.e., a sample collection technique with the entire population as the samples. In line with that, there were 53 employees as the sample. Furthermore, the instrument in the data collection used a questionnaire with the a Likert scale. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used the Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 program. The result showed that leadership had a significantly positive effect on the employees’ performance at KJPP HUR. Likewise, competence had a significant effect on the employees’ performance at KJPP HUR. Additionally, leadership had a significant effect on the work motivation at KJPP HUR. Similarly, competence had a significant effect on the work motivation at KJPP HUR. In addition, work motivation had a significant effect on the employees’ performance at KJPP HUR.
