PENGARUH RETURN ON EQUITY, CURRENT RATIO, DEBT TO ASSET RATIO DAN TOTAL ASSET TURNOVER TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN RETAIL DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2018-2022

Abstract

This research examined the effect of Return On Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on the firm value of Retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018-2022. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data were secondary; in the form of companies’ financial statements. The data collection technique used saturated sampling, in which all members of the population were structured homogenously with criteria given as a sample. In line with that, there were 7 companies as the sample. Furthermore, the data were taken for 5 years (2018-2022). In total, 35 data samples were analyzed. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The result, from the hypothesis test (t-test) showed that ROE had a positive and significant effect on firm value. However, CR had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value. In contrast, both DAR and TATO had a negative and significant effect on firm value.
