PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA DRIVER GO-RIDE DI KOTA SURABAYA
Abstract
This research aimed to examine the effect of work compensation and work motivation on the employees’ performance of Online drivers. The type of research was quantitative methods . Furthermore, the population was all drivers of Go-Ride in Surabaya consisting of 100 people. The data were primary, Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling i.e., a sample selection with determined criteria. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Additionally, the result showed that work compensation variable had a negative and significant effect on the performance of the Go-Ride drivers in Surabaya. On the other hand, work motivation variable had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Go-Ride drivers in Surabaya. In brief, companies should be able to maintain the performance of Go-Ride drivers by giving providing fair and equitable compensation and work motivation that would influence the drivers’ performance. Besides that, the compensation and motivation would increase service satisfaction which was felt by the customers of Go-Ride.
