PENGARUH RETURN ON EQUITY , EARNING PER SHARE , DAN PRICE EARNING RATIO TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN ASURANSI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

Financial performance is a description of the company's financial condition in a certain period regarding aspects of raising funds and channeling funds, which are usually measured using financial ratios. This research aimed to find out, examine, and analyze the effect of Return On Equity, Earning Per Share, and Price Earning Ratio on the stock price of the Insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Moreover, the population was 8 insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2017-2021. Furthermore, the data collection technique used a saturated sampling technique. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling i.e., all the population used as the research sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 23. The result indicated that Earning Per Share as well as Price Earning Ratio had a positive significant effect on the stock price of the Insurance companies 2017-2021. On the other hand, Return On Equity had a negative and insignificant effect on the stock price of the Insurance companies 2017-2021.
