Abstract

Bankruptcy is a risk which must be faced by every business field. One of the ways to avoid this risk is by knowing the potential for bankruptcy on early stages. Company through the consolidated annual financial statements which have been prepared by the cable subsector companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population has been obtained by using purposive sampling method on Subsector Cable Companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2012-2016 periods and based on the predetermined criteria, five companies have been obtained as samples. The method of analysis has been done by using Altman Z-Score method. The result shows that three of five companies are categorized into prone to bankcruptcy in 2012-2016 periods there are PT.Jembo Cable Company, Tbk, PT.Kabelindo Murni, Tbk, dan PT.Voksel Electric Tbk. Whereas the remaining two companies are categorized into health category or do not have any potency to experience bankcruptcy in 2012-2016 periods there are PT.KMI Wire and Cable Company, Tbk dan PT.Supreme Cable Manufacturing and Commerce, Tbk.
