Abstract

Job satisfaction is an emotional condition either it is favorable or unfavorable in which the employees see in their
work. Job satisfaction reflects the feeling of a person in seeing his jobs. It is shown from the positive attitude of
the employee and everything that is faced in the work environment. This research is meant to find out the
influence of work motivation, incentive and work environment to the job satisfaction. The population is the
employees in production department at PT Petrosida Gresik with the saturated sampling collection technique
and 37 people have been selected as samples. The analysis technique has been done by using multiple linear
regressions analysis. The result of this research shows that work motivation, incentive, and work environment
have influence to the job satisfaction of the employees at PT Petrosida Gresik. This result indicates that the
models that have been used in this research are feasible for further analysis. This result is supported by the
acquisition of multiple coefficient correlation rate is 82.3% shows the correlation among these variables to the job
satisfaction of the employees. The result of this test shows that partially the work motivation, incentive and work
environment have positive influence to the job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the variable has dominant influence to
the job satisfaction is work motivation.
