PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PERKEBUNAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to find out and analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and firm size on the plantation company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016- 2020 period. Furthermore, the independent variable used profitability was proxy with Return on Asset (ROA), liquidity was proxy with Current Ratio (CR), and firm size measured by Size (Ln). The research dependent variable used firm value which was proxy with Price to Book Value (PBV). This research was quantitative with a causal-comparative approach intended to determine the causal relationship between variables. The research data used secondary data. Furthermore, the sample collection technique used purposive sampling i.e., a researcher had criteria given to determine the tested sample. Based on the purposive sampling method it obtained six plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2020 period. Moreover, the research analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 26 version. The research result found that ROA had a negative and insignificant effect on the firm value, CR had a negative and significant effect on the firm value, while firm size had a negative and significant effect on the firm value.
