PENGARUH KNOWLEDGE SHARING DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN MELALUI PERILAKU INOVATIF SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVINING

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of knowledge sharing and motivation on employees’ performance through innovative behavior as an intervening variable at PT. Bank Mandiri KCP Jembatan Merah, Surabaya. The population was employees of PT. Bank Mandiri KCP Jembatan Merah, Surabaya. Moreover, the data collection technique used non-probability sampling. In line with that, there were 50 respondents from 57 permanent employees. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0. The research result concluded that knowledge sharing had a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. Likewise, knowledge sharing had a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior. While, motivation had a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. Similarly, motivation had a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior. Meanwhile, innovative behavior had a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance. In addition, the research result which showed the indirect effect of knowledge sharing on employees’ performance through innovative behavior as intervening variable; had a positive and significant effect also the effect of motivation on employees’ performance through innovative behavior as intervening variable had a positive and significant effect at PT. Bank Mandiri KCP Jembatan Merah, Surabaya.
