Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the influence of leadership and compensation to the employee loyalty with work stress as the intervening variable at PT. Zangrandi Prima. The population is 50 employees of PT Zangrandi Prima. The sample collection method has been carried out by using saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique which has been applied in this research is path analysis. The result of the research shows that the variable of leadership and compensation gives positive and significant influence to the work stress since the value of t-countis larger than the value of t-table and the value of significance is smaller than 0.05. Meanwhile, the variable of leadership, compensation, and work stress give positive and significant to the employee loyalty. It has been found from the influence of the variable of leadership and compensation through work stress to the employee loyalty that the value of direct influence is larger than the value of indirect influence. It shows that leadership and compensation through work stress directly give significant influence to the employee loyalty. In conclusion it can be stated that work stress is a quasi-intervening variable.
