PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERBANKAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability ratio: return on assets, return on equity, and net profit margin to the stock price at a banking sector company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2019 periods. This research was conducted with causel comparatives. The data was collected from secondary data, i.e., data collected by another party, namely Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Furthermore, this research population used 15 banking companies that have the highest stock price, while the samples were obtained from 15 companies. The analysis method used multiple linear regression with the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application instrument 25 version. The hypothesis test indicated that Return On Assets had a positive but insignificant effect on the stock price, Return On Equity had a positive and significant effect on the stock price, and net profit margin had a positive and significant effect on the stock price.
