PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, LIKUIDITAS, DAN SOLVABILITAS TERHADAP PERUBAHAN LABA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR SUB SEKTOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE DI BEI

Abstract

This study aims to find out and to prove empirically the impact of the profitability ratio, the liquidity, and the solvability toward the profit changes in manufacturing companies, food and beverage sub sector. The dependent variable of this study is the profit changes, while the independent variables are the net profit margin, the current ratio, and the debt to equity ratio which are registered in Indonesia's Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The applied samples of this study are collected by applying the method purposive sampling. From 30 companies as the population, this study collect 14 food and beverage companies as the samples which meet the determined criteria. The analysis applies the multiple linear regression which is counted by applying SPSS version 21. The result of this study shows that the net profit margin gives positive and significant impact to the profit changes, while the current ratio gives negative and insignificant impact, and the debt to equity ratio gives positive and insignificant impact to the profit changes of the manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub sector.
