PENGARUH LEVERAGE, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA SEKTOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Abstract
This research aimed to examine the effect of leverage, firm size, and profitability on firm value. While, firm value was
referred to Price to Book Value (PBV), leverage was referred to Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), firm size was referred to
logarithm of natural total asset and profitability was referred to Return On Asset (ROA). Moreover, the population
was 26 Food and Beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2019.
Furthermore, the research was quantitative. Additionally, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in
which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 10 companies as the sample. The data were in
the form of documentation, from which its source from secondary data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used
descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, proper model test, determination coefficient
test and hypothesis test. In addition, the research result concluded that leverage, firm size and profitability had a
positive and significant effect on firm value.
