Abstract

Optimizing the firm value can be obtained by its management function. This happens as the owner has strong effort to increase the firm value. As consequence, the higher the firm value, the more prosperous the stakeholder will be. While, firm value is related to shares price as its value become investor consideration on the firm performeance. This research aimed to find out the effect of profitability, liquidity and capital structure on the firm value. While, population was Food and Beverage companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Servise Solution) version 22. The research results concluded liquidity and capital structure had negative and insignificant effect on the firm value. In other words, company could not afford to pay its financial liabilities. On the other hand, profitability had positive and significant effect on the firm value. It meant, the company could get some profits.
