PENGARUH UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, STRUKTUR MODAL, DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN TRANSPORTASI

Abstract

This transportation company is growing rapidly. Along with the increasing population in Indonesia, the need for transportation continued to increase. Therefore, the transportation industry sector is considered to have a profitable prospect. This research was aimed to find out and examine the effect of firm size (SIZE), capital structure (DER), and profitability (ROE) on the transportation firm value listed in IDX. This research was used quantitatively. Moreover, the research population used transportation companies listed in IDX. The analysis technique of this research used inferensial statistics by multiple linear regressions. The research result shower that SIZE has a positive but insignificant effect on the firm value it meant that the increase or decrease SIZE did not affect a significant change on the firm value, DER and ROE had a positive and significant effect on the firm value it meant the fluctuation of the value of DER and ROE had a significant effect on the firm value. On the other hand, the company should pay attention to the value of DER, and ROE showed a good result, while it used to measure the company's success.
