PENGARUH RASIO KEUANGAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LABA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN DI BEI 2015-2019

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of financial ratio on profit growth of farming companies which
were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019. While, the independent variables were CR (Current Ratio),
ROA (Return On Asset) and GPM (Gross Profit Margin). Meanwhile, the dependent variable was profit
growth.
The research was explanaory research with an amount of information hich as taken from hypothesis test.
Moreover, it used a quantitative approach by calculating the number in which the data source was secondary.
Furthermore, the data were in the form of farming companies’ financial statement during 2015-2019.
Additionally, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 7 from 23
companies as the sample. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, classical
assumption test, proper model test and hypothesis test with SPSS 25.
The research result concluded that CR had negative and significant effect on profit growth. On the
other hand, ROA had a positive and significant effect on profit growth. In contrast, GPM affect did not
significant to profit gowth.
