Abstract

This research aimed to examine 1) the effect of motivation on employees’ work satisfaction, 2) the effect of communication on employees’ work satisfaction, and 3) the effect of work stress on employees’ work satisfaction of Bogasari Baking Center, Surabaya. The research was quantitative. Moreover, the data collection technique used saturated sampling, in which all member of population were the sample. Furthermore, the population as well as sample was 70 respondents. Additionally, the data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistics, also multiple linier analysis with SPSS 23. According to classical assumption test through normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedacity test, it showed all variables had fulfilled its assumption and there was no violence. While, from proper model test, it showed the regression model was properly used. Meanwhile, the result of descriptive analysis described motivation, communication and work stress had been proved positively. In addition, hypothesis test result concluded motivation, communication, as well as work stress had significant effect on employees’ work satisfaction.
