PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, RASIO AKTIVITAS DAN RISIKO BISNIS TERHADAP STRUKTUR MODAL

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect the effect of profitability, firm size, activity and business risk on capital structure of food and beverages companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2018. While, the research was quantitative. The population was 18 food and beverages companies which were listed on IDX during 2014-2018. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 12 companies as the sample. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 23, in order to examine the effect of profitability firm size, activity, and business risk on capital structure, the research result concluded profitability had significant effect on capital structure of food and beverage companies. Likewise, both activity and business risk had significant effect on capital structure of food and beverages companies. On the other hand, firm size had insignificant effect on capital structure.
