ANALISIS RISIKO DAN TINGKAT PENGEMBALIAN SAHAM DALAM MENENTUKAN SAHAM YANG DIMILIKI INVESTOR

Abstract

Investors who purchase PT Surya Citra Media Tbk stock are tent to see from the profit point of view without considering the risk of each stock or other factor which has more influence. In fact, by considering certain risk an investment will generate a higher profit with a lower risk than without any consideration. This research is meant to analyze the risk and the rate of stock return as a basic of determining whether the stock which is going to be purchased by the investor of PT Surya Citra Media which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange is feasible or not. The analysis which has been conducted by the researcher indicates that the amount of risk and the rate of stock return can be applied in order to determine the feasibility of a stock. So, it can be known whether the stock of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange is feasible or not to be purchased by the potential investors.The result of the research indicates that from the calculation to the eta, the rate of stock return which has been required and the expected rate of stock return can be known that PT Surya Citra Media stock is feasible to be possessed by the investors. This condition is caused by the stocks have higher rate of return than it is expected from the rate of stock return which has been required so it generates the positive excess return.
