PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTAMBANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of financial performance on stock price of mining companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. While, the prospect of financial performance reflected its achievement and company’s financial condition. This could affect the supply and demand of stock price. The research was secondary in form of company’s financial statement. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with, there were 12 mining companies as sample with observation year period 2014-2018. Meanwhile, there were variables which used, namely Return On Equity, Net Profit Margin, Debt to Equity Ratio and Price Earnings Ratio as independent variable. Whereas, stock price was dependent variable. In addition, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS 22. Based on the research result, it conclude Return On Equity had positive and significant effect on stock price. In contrast, Net Profit Margin, Debt to Equity Ratio and Price Earning Ratio had insignificant effect on stock price.
