PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, DISIPLIN KERJA, MOTIVASI, DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMK DR. SOETOMO SURABAYA
Abstract
School becomes the main part of education which are prepared for students’ learning within the scope of teachers’ supervision. This research aimed to find out the effect of leadership, work discipline, motivation and environment on the teachers’ performance of SMK Dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. The research was quantitative. While, the data collection technique used saturated or total sampling with questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linier regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution). Based on the research result, it concluded leadership, discipline and work environment had positive but insignificant effect on the teachers’ performance. It meant, leadership, work discipline and work environment did not have any significant effect on the teachers’ performance regardless how small or big their percentage. Nevertheless, motivation had significant effect on the teachers’ performance. In other word, the higher the motivation was, the heigher the level of performance would be and vice versa. In addition, with the effect of leadership at SMK Dr. Soetomo, among colleagues should guide each other’s and provide coaching discipline in order to prevent coming late or going home earlier. Besides, it should also provide job guarantee in order to have better security needs and arrange its working environment.
