PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN DAN INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY SET (IOS) TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of variable liquidity, activity, solvency, profitability ratios markets and investment opportunity sets to stock return coal mining company shares that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample collection tyechnqiue has been done by using purposive sampling and determined criteria has obtained 10 charcoal mining companies with observation periods which has been done in 2011-2015 periods. The type of data which has been applied in this research is the secondary data and the financial statement. The analysis technique has been carried out by using multiple linear regressions analysis.The result of the research has been carried out by using goodnees of fit test (F test) which shows variables i.e.: liquidity, activity, solvability, profitability, market ratio, and investment opportunity set are feasible to be used in research and simultaneously is the explanatory variable of stock return. The hypothesis test has been carried out by using t test which shows that liquidity, activity, solvability, profitability, and investment opportunity set variable has not influence to the stock return, whereas market ratio variable has positive and significant influence to the stock return of go public coal mining companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015 periods
