Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effect of leverage on the firm value of automotive companies and components,
profitability on the firm value of automotive companies and components and firm size on the firm value of
automotive companies and components. Those variables were referred to debt to equity ratio, return on equity,
size and price book value. The research was causal comparative. While, the population was automotive
companies and components which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2017 and used rupiah
currency. Moreover, the data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 9 samples.
Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The research result conluded leverage
had positive and significant effect on the firm value of automotive companies and components which were listed
on Indonesia Stock Exchnge 2013-2017. Probability had positive and significant effect on the firm value of
automotive companies and components which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchnge 2013-2017. Firm size
insignificant on the firm value of automotive companies and components which were listed on Indonesia Stock
Exchnge 2013-2017.
