PENGARUH RETURN ON EQUITY, RETURN ON ASSET, DAN EARNING PER SHARE TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM

Abstract

This research aimed to examine and analyze the company’s performance which was referred to Return On Equity, Return On Asset and Earning Per Share on the shares price through annual financial statement which obtained and prepared by plantation companies which were listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange 2013-2017. While, the population was 16 plantation companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Moreover, the sample was 7 plantation companies who had ever published complete financial performance 2013-2017 and also showed the profit in consequtive Furthermore, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). In addition, the research result concluded the independent variable, i.e. Return On Equity (ROE) had positive and significant effect on the shares price. On the other hand, other independent variable, namely Return On Asset (ROA) had negative and significant effect on the shares price. Meanwhile, another independent variable, i.e. EarningPer Share (EPS) had negative but insignificant effect on the shares price.
