PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN PADA INDUSTRI PERKEBUNAN

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, company growth, and firm size on the firm value which
were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. While, the date were secondary, which in the form of company
financial statement 2014-2017. There are 14 plantation companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia. The
population in this study is heterogeneous in nature so that several criteria are established to get the right
population. Of the 14 existing plantation companies, the companies that meet the criteria in this research are 6
plantation companies, The population was 6 plantation companies. Moreover, the data collection technique used
sturated sampling so that the population in this study uses all members of the existing population. Furthermore,
the data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis with multiple linear regression. The
research result, with descriptive analysis, concluded profitability, company growth, and firm value of planation
companies were low in average. On the other hand, the firm size was high in average. In addition, the research
result, from inferential analysis, conclude profiability and company growth had significant effect on the firm
value. Meanwhile, the firm size had insignificant effect on the firm value.
