PENGARUH LEVERAGE TERHADAP ROE PADA PERUSAHAAN PROPERTY DAN REAL ESTATE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of Debt to Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Time Interest Earned Ratio on the Return on Equity. While, the population was 48 property and real estate companies which were listed on Indonesia stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2017. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with, there were 15 companies as sample. Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with SPSS (Statistical Product and Sevice Solutions) version 20. The research result concluded Debt to Equity Ratio, and Time Interest Earned Ratio had positive and significant effect on the Return on Equity. On the other hand, Debt to Asset Ratio had negative and insignificant effect on Return on Equity of property and real estate companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2017. The result of simultaneous research shows that Debt to Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Time Interest Earned Ratio have significant influence on the Return on Equity with significant level equal to 0,007.
