PENGARUH GCG DAN CSR TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR BARANG DAN KONSUMSI DI BEI

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of good corporate governance and corporate social responsibility on the company performance which reflected on return on equity (ROE) The research was quantitative. While, the data collection technique used purposive sampling, in which the sample was based on criteria given. In line with., there were 45 samples from 15 consumption goods manufacturing companies which were listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 3 years (2015-2017), Moreover, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with classical assumption test. The reseearch concluded one of the mechanism of good corporate governance ie. managerial ownership, with independent commissioner had significant effect on the company performance. On the other hand, the audit committee did not have positive effect on the company performance. While, corporate social responsibility (CSR) did not have negative effect on the company performance which was reflected on return on equity (ROE) Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility Company Performance
