Abstract

Insurance agency is freelance and unbonding employees, yet has job pressure i.e. job target. This target is used for its career prospect and jobs which consists of time limited, effectivity, and efficiency with expected compensation. By having its target, the employees are easier to get turnover intention with some factors. While, this research aimed to find out the effect of transactional leadership and compensation on the turnover intention towards job satisfaction of P.T. Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia Agency Surabaya Money Smart. Moreover, there were 55 active agents and members f company as the respondents. Furthermore, the data used primary with questionnaire as the instruments. In addition, the data analysis technique used PartialLeast Square (PLS). The research result, from the Partial Least Square (PLS analysis), concluded transactional leadership and compensation had significant effect on turnover intention. Likewise, job satisfaction could moderate the effect of transactional leadership on turnover intention. On the other hand, job satisfaction could not moderate the effect of compensation on the turnover intention.
