PERANAN ANALISIS Z-SCORE UNTUK MEMPREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN PADA PERUSAHAAN TELEKOMUNIKASI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (BEI)

Abstract

This research aims to determine the prediction of bankruptcy using the Altman Z-Score model on telecommunication services companies which is listed in the IDX at the period 2012-2015. The population of this research is the financial statements of telecommunication services companies which is listed in the BEI five years from 2012-2016. The sample in this research is 4 companies by using purposive sampling. The analytical technique used is the Altman Z-Score model with the Z-Score> 2.60 criterion criteria categorized as a healthy company, 1,1 <Z-Score <2.60 is bankrupted so that the possibility of rescue and possibly bankrupt is the same depending on decision of corporate management policy as decision maker. As for the value of Z-Score <1.10 is categorized as companies that have a very large financial difficulties and high risk so that the possibility of bankruptcy is very large. The results of this research indicates that for the last 5 years there are 3 telecommunications companies from 4 companies under research entered into the category of bankruptcy, while 1 other companies fall into the category prone to bankruptcy.
