PENGARUH AKTIVITAS PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP RENTABILITAS EKONOMI PADA PERUSAHAAN INDUSTRI PULP DAN KERTAS YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI

Abstract

The amount of profits that the company obtained regularly and increased profits is a very important factor that
needs to get the attention of the analyzer in assessing corporate economic profitability. This researchis aimed to
examine and to find out the influence of corporate activity which is proxy by cash turnover, account receivables
turnover and inventory turnover to the economic profitability to the annual financial statements which have
been prepared by the pulp and paper industry companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The
population in this research has been obtained by using purposive sampling method of the pulp and paper
industry companies whichare listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2011-2015 periods and based on the
predetermined criteria 5 pulp and paper industry companies have been selected as samples. The purposive
sampling method has been carried out based on certain criteria. The analysis method has been done by using
multiple linear regression analysis and the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 23
version. The
result of the research which has been done by using multiple linier regression shows that inventory turnovergive
positive and significant influenceto the economic profitability. Meanwhile cash turnover and accounts receivable
turnover does not give significant influence to the economic profitability of pulp and paper industry companies
which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
