STRUKTUR MODAL : UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, STRUKTUR AKTIVA, PROFITABILITAS, DAN RISIKO BISNIS

Abstract

This research is aimed to test and to find out the influence of firm size, assets structure, profitability and
business risk to the capital structure in trading companies (retail) which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange
in 2011-2015 periods. The population is 21 retail companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in
2011-2015 periods. The samples are 9 companies which have been selected by using purposive sampling. The
data has been done by using secondary data from financial statement of Retail Companies which are listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique has been carried out by using multiple linear regressions.
The data has been processed by using SPSS 23 software. Based on the result of feasibility test of regressions
model, it shows that this research is feasible to be used for further analysis. Based on the result of hypothesis test
(t test) the result of the research shows that firm size and assets structure give significant and positive influence
to the model structure of Retail Companies. Meanwhile, profitability which has been measured by using ROA
and the business risk give significant and negative influence to the capital structure on Retail Company.
