ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH AKUISISI

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of financial performance before and after the acquisition of property and real estate companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.Population in this research is property and real estate company which is PT Agung Podomoro Land and MNC Land which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2010-2016 period. This research did not use the sample. The measurement of the financial statement has been conducted by using financial ratios which consist i.e. current ratio, quick ratio, debt to total asset ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on asset, return on equity. The analysis method used is paired t test using SPSS application tool.The result of the research shows that there is only one ratio showing significant difference of financial performance before and after acquisition that is debt to asset ratio. As for the current ratio, quick ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on asset ratio and return on equity ratio is not significantly influenced. This shows that in general the acquisition has not been able to improve financial performance.
