PENGARUH INFLASI DAN PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of inflation and profitability that proxied with Return On Assets and Return On Equity on stock prices in food and beverages companies which listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange at 2012-2016 period. The population in this research are companies which listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange incorporated in the food and beverages industrial sector of 16 companies. The sampling that been used in this research is purposive sampling method and based on predetermined criteria, the sample of 10 food and beverages companies which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis with using SPSS application. The results of this research indicates that the variable inflation and Return On Asset have a significant influence on stock prices, while the returnon equity variable does not have a significant influence on stock prices of food and beverages companies which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
