Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial performance on the value of companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Corporate value is one proxy describing shareholder wealth. The company's financial performance is one of the factors seen by investors to determine the stock investments. The data analyzed is secondary data in the form of company financial report data for the 2012-2016 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Based on the predetermined criteria, the sample of 11 transportation service companies is obtained. Dependent variable in this research is firm value measured by Price to Book Value, while independent variable in this research is liquidity measured with Current Ratio, leverage measured with Debt to Equity Ratio, profitability measured by Return On total Asset. Research data was processed using SPSS 20 software, with multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, model feasibility test and hypothesis test. The results showed that Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return On total Asset (ROA) had significant influence on firm value (PBV), while Current Ratio (CR) had no significant influence on firm value (PBV).
