PROFITABILITAS, STRUKTUR AKTIVA, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN MEMPENGARUHI STRUKTUR MODAL PERUSAHAAN PERDAGANGAN DI BEI

Abstract

This research is meant to test and to find out the influence of profitability, assets structure and firm
size to the capital structure in trading companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in
2010-2014 periods. The samples are the trading companies which are listed in 2010-2014 periods, and
3 companie
s have been selected as samples. The research data is processed by using the software of
SPSS 22, and the result of the multiple linear regressions, Classic Assumption test, Goodness of fit
test, and Hypothesis test. Based on the result of model feasibility test, the regression which has been
generated is feasible for the following analysis. Based on the result of hypothesis test it shows that
profitability (ROA) has positive and significant to the capital structure of trading company, and firm
size (SIZE) has positive and significant influence to the capital structure of the trading company.
Based on the partial coefficient determination test, the variable which has dominant influence to the
capital structure of trading company is Profitability (ROA).
