PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK WIRAUSAHA TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN USAHA PEDAGANG ETNIS CINA DAN JAWA

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the influence of entrepreneur characteristics towards the success of the Chinese and Javanese ethnics efforts and see if there were differences in the success of the Chinese and Javanese ethnics businesses. This research used descriptive research with quantitative approach using survey. Population of this research were Chinese and Javanese traders at North Surabaya, with the sample of 100 respondent 950 Chinese and 50 Javanese traders). Sampling technique used purposive sampling. Analysis technique used multiple liniear regression analysis and different test used independent sample test. The result showed that entrepreneur characteristics had significant influence to the business success, has proved by α=0,000 < 0,05. different test result found that difference in busuness success between Chinese and Javanese, proved by the t value 0,291 with the significance level 0,772>0,05. this gave a view that the level of success of entrepreneurship between Chinese and Javanese was not same.
